Approach

I am a full-time wedding photographer based in Swansea, and I have been doing this professionally since 2014. My work is unposed and documentary: I spend the day blending into the background and photographing what actually happens, rather than stopping things to arrange people into rows.

The aim is fun rather than fuss. No nonsense, no cheesiness, and realness over anything staged. Most couples tell me afterwards that guests assumed I was a friend of theirs rather than the photographer, which is more or less the goal. What comes back is detail caught in an elegant, slightly film-like way, edited carefully and never drained of the colour the day actually had.

I cover Swansea and the whole of Wales, travel anywhere in the UK, and shoot destination weddings across Europe, most often in Italy, Greece and Scotland. Love is love, and I work with couples of every kind and every sort of celebration. Away from weddings I am married to Victoria, we have a sausage dog called Olive, and I run a small pottery business on the side.
